The leasing options – basic and professional – fit small and large operations. Both programs include an industrial-grade tablet com- puter, eight tri-axial sensors, a month- ly maintenance package and optional expert analysis reports. The Pulse program was designed specif- ically to monitor the health of vibrating screens to ensure optimum screening performance and equipment durability. The reporting and historical tracking of the machine's performance gives cus- tomers the information needed to maxi- mize uptime and productivity. "We understand screening equipment is a significant portion of an operation's budget, which is why we developed the Pulse leasing program," said Kar- en Thompson, president of Haver & Boecker Canada. "The Pulse leasing option offers customers the tools to optimize screening efficiency on a dai- ly basis. This helps increase their opera- tion's profitability by minimizing down- time as well as maintenance costs." The Pulse system uses an industri- al-grade tablet computer that connects wirelessly with eight tri-axial sensors. The sensors attach to key places on the equipment and send up to 24 channels of data to the tablet, which displays a real-time view of the machine's orbit, acceleration, deviations and more. For an additional cost, the Haver & Boecker engineering team will analyze the results. The team then provides the customer with a report that includes a thorough examination of the machine's performance and recommendations for improvement. If the results require fur- ther examination, a Haver technician will schedule an on-site inspection. For easy accessibility, customers can store all vibration analysis reports elec- tronically in an online database, the Pulse Information Portal. The custom- er can download machine data in two formats. The Orbit Report provides a visual of orbit and wave form, as well as data about acceleration, stroke, speed and phase angle. The software pro- cesses Fast Fourier Transformation, or FFT, plots for values for three channels of data for each measuring point. The second format is the Tuning Report, which extrapolates side to side, feed to discharge and diagonal deviations between measurement points while providing recommendations on bal- ance, acceleration, stroke and speed. Developed for a variety of wet and dry applications, includ- ing sand and gravel, shot rock and recycle, the new 6204QF Screen provides the same aggressive and efficient screening action as KPI-JCI and Astec Mobile Screens' triple-shaft horizontal screen. The new portable screen offers 33 percent more screening area than a standard 6203LP Screen, allowing for increased production at a lower cost when compared to adding addi- tional screens and support equipment, according to Ian Pen- dergrass, product development manager for KPI-JCI and Astec Mobile Screens. Additionally, the screen is capable of making additional products or adding efficiencies by load-relieving the prod- uct-sizing decks in the same footprint. "We couldn't be more excited about the launch of our new four-deck product line," Pendergrass said. "A four-deck hori- zontal screen is a unique tool for the industry and we believe it fulfills a void in the industry." The 6204QF features an adjustable stroke length of 7/16 to 1/2 in., adjustable stroke angle of 30 to 60 degrees, and an adjustable speed range of 675 to 975 rpm. The screen offers a maximum top deck opening of 2 ½ in. and maximum feed size of 8 in. In addition to the 6204QF, KPI-JCI and Astec Mobile Screens also offers the 8244Q as part of the Q Series.
