FEATURE travel safety. Built for any make or model of off‐highway truck, the HiVol water tank series serves as an ideal solution for a multitude of applica‐ tions. The designers calculated the dynamic center of gravity of the fluid within the tank to engineer the HiVol series with the lowest weight and greatest carrying capacity. This ca‐ pacity can range up to 60,000 gal. – more than half the capacity of a water tower. To ensure maximum safety, a patented fluid baffling system not only stops water surges from the back to front, but effectively provides a full‐height/full‐length/full‐center Backbone structure that eliminates surging from side to side as well. www.philsystems.com Philippi-Hagenbuch PHOENIX Process Equipment Co. Booth 12530 PHOENIX Process Equipment will demonstrate the Diemme filter press. The trailer mounted system includes a Diemme KE500 filter press, 10‐gpm membrane pump, 200‐gal. mix tank, and mixer. Established in 1923, Diemme has developed innovative, rugged dewatering solutions that are designed specifically for demanding mining process dewatering applica‐ tions. Through internal product de‐ velopment and strategic partnering relationships, PHOENIX has become an international leader in systems for minerals processing and liquid/solid separation. www.dewater.com Sandvik Mining Booth C-7309 Sandvik Mining will introduce newly enhanced automation concepts that open up a new era in mining. The Sandvik AutoMine product family is the most comprehensive automation offering for underground and sur‐ face mining. Increasing fleet utiliza‐ tion and production rates, improving working conditions and reducing maintenance costs, Sandvik Au‐ toMine promotes preeminent safety, productivity and peace of mind for mining operations. Sandvik Mining's Automation focuses not only on equipment autonomy, but also on mining process automation and management. Sandvik's bolter miner, MB610, offers fast and easy access to maintenance points, large and ergonomic working platforms, enhanced cutting forces, and world‐class performance. Since Sandvik Mining Systems intro‐ duced its PF300 fully‐mobile In‐Pit Crushing and Conveying (IPCC) sys‐ tem in March 2009, renewed interest in mobile crushing concepts in the major mining markets has been ex‐ traordinary. The newly developed fully mobile crushing plant makes the IPCC method a better alternative to traditional truck haulage due to lower operating and maintenance costs, higher energy efficiency, signif‐ icant reduction of CO2 footprint, and radical decline in dust emission. Sandvik The PF300 uses Sandvik's crushing technology to offer a full range of roll crushers flexible enough to suit even the most challenging mining applica‐ tions. The entire system is custom‐ engineered by Sandvik Mining and equipped with genuine parts. With commissioning of the two first units scheduled for mid‐2012, the PF300, with its compact and stable design, has potential for future market share for IPCC applications. Cutter picks featuring the XT grade tungsten carbide can cut materials up to 180 MPa (26,000 psi). The new RR321 rotary drill bit continues the development of a comprehensive portfolio, which includes the RR220 32 ROCKproducts • AUGUST 2012 www.rockproducts.com
