INNOVATIONS Eriez Advanced Technology Magnets Remove Tramp Iron Eriez, with its advanced technology for magnetic, vibratory and inspection applications, offers powerful Sus‐ pended Electromagnets (SEs) to re‐ move damaging tramp iron from materials conveyed in heavy burden depths on flat conveyors or chutes. These powerful magnets are backed by an exclusive five‐year coil war‐ ranty, the company said. With Eriez Series 7000 Suspended Electromagnets, customers can safely and automatically remove tramp iron from heavy product flows such as wood, coal, or rock being conveyed on belts, vibratory feeders or chutes. UL‐Listed construction is available on units for use in hazardous and dusty locations. These air‐cooled, dry‐type electromagnets, approved by CSA, require no coolant fluids and reduce power consumption by up to 50 percent. Powerscreen Warrior 1400x Offers Lower Operating Costs Powerscreen launched the new Warrior 1400X screen, the company reported. Designed with economy in mind, reduced engine running speed and enhanced hydraulics, the 1400X offers a reduction in fuel consumption of up to 15 percent in comparison to its predecessor. This can translate into a substantial financial saving for customers over the lifetime of the machine. "The new Powerscreen Warrior 1400X offers improved per‐ formance, lower operating costs, and easier serviceability while building on the reliable foundation of our class‐lead‐ ing Warrior 1400 scalper," said Damian Power, global prod‐ uct director. Improved versatility and design specifications are other key achievements of the Warrior 1400X, with the screen‐ ing angle range widening of 13–19 degrees. Standard stockpiling capacity on all conveyors has increased by up to 25 percent. With the chassis riser option and the tele‐ scopic side conveyor option, the fines and mid‐grade stock‐ piling capacity is increased to more than double that of a standard Warrior 1400.
