64 • ROCK products • July 2018 LAST CALL Chaney Enterprises, a ready-mixed concrete, aggregates and construction supplies provider, raised more than $55,000 for the American Cancer Soci- ety and substance abuse and cancer research at its 19th Annual Babe & Dick Chaney Memorial Golf Tournament. The sold-out tournament, held at Old South Country Club in Lothian, Md., included a putting contest to kick off the day and was followed by the golf tournament. Attendees then stayed for dinner and an awards presentation at the club. Chaney also debuted its new concrete mixer truck with the compa - ny's anti-opioid messaging. "At Chaney, we take pride in deliver- ing exceptional products and services, while demonstrating commitment to our people, our communities, and our environment," said Francis "Hall" Chaney III, president of Chaney Enter- prises. "This tournament is a way for people to come together, have a good time and play some golf, all while rais- ing funds for terrific causes.
