42 • ROCK products • October 2018 EQUIPMENT & TECHNOLOGY CRUSHING & BREAKING Eagle Crusher Co. debuted the Stealth 500, the latest product addition to the Eagle Crusher line of heavy-duty crushing and screening equipment. The Stealth has been specifically configured to help cost-con- scious businesses by enabling them to enter the recycle concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and sand and gravel indus- tries for an unexpectedly low initial investment price for an all-electric plant that provides high production crushing and screening on one chassis. At $399,999 the plant is also priced to allow existing produc- ers to economically add to their fleets. Designed for smaller-sized jobs that require cubicle spec products from a highly portable crushing and screening plant, the Stealth transports easily with its hydraulic retract - able return conveyor, and sets up and tears down quickly using its hydraulic lift and leveling system. The plant's two-deck inclined screen produces two cubical products, while top-deck retained material is returned to the crusher for further processing. The Stealth features a unique, two-step, 5-ft. grizzly deck to allow for material that passes through the grizzly deck to be blended back with the crushed material, minimizing crusher wear. The Stealth also includes a removable electrical control panel that features pre-wired receptacles for radial stackers. Eagle Crusher, Multirok Vertical Shaft Impactors by thyssenkrupp Offer Flexibility Multirok vertical shaft impactors, manufactured by thyssen- krupp, have been in operation worldwide for many years. Multirok crushers are typically used in tertiary and quater- nary crushing applications for the production of chips and sand and are ideal for medium to hard rock, such as lime- stone, dolomite, basalt and granite. They can be used flexibly in stationary, semi-mobile and mobile plants. thyssenkrupp also carries out intensive research and development work to continuously optimize the proven concept. In vertical shaft impactors the material is fed centrally into the rotor from above. The centrifugal forces inside the rotor throw the material against the sidewall, resulting in a highly cubical product. Multirok impactors from thyssenkrupp are available in two sidewall and rotor variants: the sidewalls can be equipped either with anvils or with a material bed. For the rotor there is a choice of open or closed configuration. The optimum design is selected on the basis of the feed material and the specific customer requirements. thyssenkrupp offers its Multirok vertical shaft impactors in three sizes: Multirok 7 for throughputs of up to 200 tph; Multirok 9 for throughputs of up to 300 tph; and Multirok 9 Duo – which has two drive motors – for throughputs of up to 400 tph. The product size is mainly influenced by the rotational speed of the rotor. The Multirok can be equipped with a variable frequency drive to adjust the rotor speed. This ensures quick and easy product changes during operation. Maintenance is a key issue in the operation of vertical shaft impactors. Multiroks from thyssenkrupp are of robust design and offer a long service life while ensuring easy access to key components. The rotor liners and liner plates on the rotor and the anvils in the anvil ring can be accessed and replaced simply via a hydraulically removable housing cover. All wear parts are made of highly wear-resistant materials. The versatility of the Multirok does not end with the config- uration of the sidewall and rotor. Operators can respond at any time to changes in operations and subsequently switch between anvil ring and material bed and between open and closed rotor designs. All Multiroks are also equipped with automatic lubrication units for the drive shaft roller bearings to ensure reliable lubrication. thyssenkrupp, Eagle Crusher Co. Debuts Stealth 500 Crusher
