The combination of a smaller footprint, quieter operation and clean AC gener- ator power enable the user to operate various tools and tech in the field in some of the most rigorous industries: construction, maintenance and repair, farm and ranch, and pipeline. The Ranger 330MPX is the easiest welder/generator in its class to trans- port, thanks to its compact size and new competitor-compatible bolt pattern. At 20 percent smaller footprint, 25 per- cent lighter and 31 percent smaller in volume than other machines in its class, it transports to the field with less bulk and less effort, leaving more room for other tools and accessories needed on your job site. The Ranger 330MPX is fully loaded with advanced features. It is the is the first engine driven welder from Lincoln Electric to incorporate the company's patented CrossLinc remote control, ArcFX visual setting feedback, and Ready.Set.Weld quick setup guide tech- nologies – all of which are designed to streamline your welding operations and improve efficiency at your worksite. When the Ranger 330MPX is on the jobsite, you'll barely know it – it's up to 60 percent quieter than comparable models in its class. As a generator, the unit produces "clean" AC generator power that allows the operator to use power tools, laptops and other personal tech, and appliances that are sensitive to current fluctuations. No matter where you are or what equipment you are running, the machine enables you to plug in quickly and power up–worry free. The Ranger 330MPX welder and gen- erator is available for purchase and is currently offering an amazing intro- ductory price of $5,049 (after $1,000 end-user rebate). Lincoln Electric, www.lincolnelectric.com Enerpac Debuts Square Drive Torque Wrenches Enerpac announced the new RSL Series Low Profile and Square Drive Torque Wrenches. This versatile, single-drive unit solution with interchangeable hex cassettes and square drive heads lets users quickly change tools during operations, enhancing productivity and lowering tool investment costs. "The new RSL Series is a robust, versatile tool that increases operator productivity," said Mark van Baal, Bolting product line director at Enerpac. "One advanced drive with inter- changeable, high-torque cassettes lets technicians easily switch between hex and square drive heads on-the-fly, min- imizing disruptions in their work, reducing the number of tools to transport and maximizing their work. We feel the flex- ibility of the RSL Series is especially valuable for plant- and field-based industrial, energy, and oil and gas environments, but also can deliver significant benefits across a number of applications." Seven RSL Series drive units accommodate a wide range of hex cassette sizes from 7/8 in. to 6-1/8 in. (22mm-155mm), with maximum output torque ranging from 1408 ft-lbs. to 28002 ft-lbs. at 10,000 PSI. The RSL Series also feature a range of "Slimline" hex cassettes that provide superior access to narrow spaces, like a blow-out-preventer, without compro- mising on tool durability or torque output. The RSL Series cassettes provide optimum strength-to- weight and torque-to-weight ratios, with rugged alloy steel design and just three moving parts for reduced maintenance. The innovative design completely encloses all moving parts and minimizes pinch points. The RSL Series delivers accu- racy to +/- 3 percent, with 30-35 degrees of operating stroke to enhance productivity while avoiding "tool lock on." A minimum nose radius ensures trouble-free tool fit and the reaction arm has a simple dial lock for rapid changes. Robust handles are available for both sides and the tops of wrenches providing extra maneuverability. Back-Up Span- ners and a number of optional accessories are available to provide maximum versatility. Enerpac offers a large selection of air and electric pumps that are system-matched to hydrau- lic torque wrenches.
