CRUSHING BREAKING Metso Jaw Plant Launched in Hydraulic, Electric Versions The Lokotrack LT120 by Metso com bines crushing performance and user friendly design in a new, revolutionary way. For the first time, the same Loko track model is now offered in both hy draulic and electrically driven versions according to the customers needs. stroke, and 75in. fixed jaw die. C120 has a large feed opening 34 x 47in. and an aggressive cavity cross section, delivering a high reduction ratio. Metso C120s closed side setting ranges between 23/4 8in. and ca pacity range between 240 595 stph (175 430 mtph). Economy and low fuel consumption are secured by using flywheels of high inertia and optimal rpm. Metso, www.metso.com LT120 follows the same field proven technology seen in all of Metsos, tracked units for more than 26 years. Every detail of the new jaw plant has been thoroughly designed for reliable and long life. The Lokotrack LT120 was one of the new Metso products showcased at the companys 2012 New Product Expo, October 2425 in Columbia, S.C. In addition to the hydraulically oper ated version, powered by the new Caterpillar C13 engine, Lokotrack LT120 can be equipped with electri cally driven Eversion. Using the elec trically driven version, energy can be taken either from an external power supply or from a 420 kV onboard diesel generator. Today, when crushing contractors face even more challenges caused by environmental issues, our electrically driven crusher and conveyors enable a highly economical and ecological process, said Timo Nakari, product manager for the Lokotrack LT120. In addition, the LT120E electrical sys tem is designed in such a way that it provides the same benefits in opera tion and maintenance as the hydraulic version, making it very userfriendly, Nakari added. LT120 is built around the new C120 jaw crusher, featuring a long 17/6in. www.rockproducts.com ROCKproducts MARCH 2013 41
