PRODUCTS Continuous Emissions Monitoring System The Thermo Scientific Omni FTIR Multi Gas continuous emissions monitoring system (CEMS) employs Fourier trans‐ form infrared (FTIR) technology, which enables a user to simultaneously ana‐ lyze multiple stack gases, including hy‐ drogen chloride (HCl). "The heart of the Thermo Scientific Omni FTIR CEMS is the field‐proven Thermo Scientific Antaris Industrial Gas System (IGS). The system is capa‐ ble of delivering research‐grade meas‐ urements of up to 10 gases," said Dr. Dieter Kita, director of research & de‐ velopment, environmental and process monitoring, Thermo Fisher Scientific. "We believe that the sys‐ tem's rugged design also makes it pos‐ sible for facilities to accurately measure emissions in harsh industrial environments, while doing so in accor‐ dance with EPA 40CFR Part 60/63 standards and HCl performance specifications." The Omni FTIR CEMS uses an advanced software platform to achieve precise and stable analysis of complex gas spectra found in demanding industrial applications. "The Omni FTIR Multi Gas CEMS com‐ plements our Mercury Freedom Sys‐ tem and other CEMS offerings, giving our customers an even more compre‐ hensive solution for their monitoring needs," said Bob Muscat, vice presi‐ dent, environmental and process moni‐ toring, Thermo Fisher Scientific. "As the needs of the industry grow, we maintain our commitment to deliver innovative products that set a high standard of excellence within the mar‐ ketplace." The Omni FTIR Multi Gas CEMS fea‐ tures high resolution with multiple scans and strong compensation algo‐ rithms; minimal drift with self‐calibra‐ tion; real‐time dynamic alignment for long‐term stability; continuous, clean operation using a unique flowback mode; and world‐class service and sup‐ port. "Our staff has monitored bin and silo cleaning news and events for years," said company General Manager Dave Laing, "and we've always had the desire to share our discov‐ eries with the larger community. Silo safety is of such con‐ cern to Mole‐Master and to the industry at large that we decided to dedicate a portion of our website to industry news and updates." "Our goal is to provide useful, interesting reports on current industry news and issues," Laing said. "We want people to view us as not only their best source for bin and silo cleaning equipment and services but also as a reliable, trusted news resource." Mole-Master, www.molemaster.com Mole‐Master's new, online resource center allows for timely posting of news updates while also allowing for monitoring of stories to make sure the items are relevant and appropri‐ ate to post.
