The HD Buildings are available in both gable‐ and round‐style designs and can be mounted as a freestanding structure or affixed to other foundations, such as ponywalls or containers. HD Buildings are made from triple‐galvanized structural steel tubing for the frame and a 12.5 oz., high‐density polyethylene (HDPE) rip‐stop fabric cover. ClearSpan Fabric Structures provides de‐ sign‐build solutions for any desired ap‐ plication. ClearSpan buildings feature abundant natural light and spacious in‐ teriors without internal support posts. With minimal foundation requirements, the structures can be permanent or tem‐ porary and are easy to relocate. Made in the U.S.A., they can be built to any length and up to 300‐ft. wide. ClearSpan's cor‐ porate headquarters are located in South Windsor, Conn., and supports a campus for manufacturing and distribution in Dyersville, Iowa. The structures are ideal for covering aggregates stockpiles or for equipment protection. Since there are no internal support posts, the building allows for maximum usable space. The fabric cover is avail‐ able in several colors, and its permeable properties make it extremely energy ef‐ ficient. The polyethylene material allows the transmission of abundant natural light, significantly cutting costs that would otherwise be needed for supple‐ mental lighting. What's more, the pre‐ fabricated design of 20 ft. on center truss rafter spacing yields an expedited pro‐ duction time, so customers can receive their building quickly. "We added the three lengths of 160‐, 180‐ and 200‐ft. simply due to customer demand," stated ClearSpan's Senior Vice President Matt Niaura. "Having these new profiles in our system will allow for a faster overall process from order to in‐ stallation." The HD buildings start at 25‐ft. wide and cost as little as $7.49 dollars per sq. ft. End panels and accessories are also available, but are sold separately. "We're always trying to provide the best prod‐ uct, while still keeping costs down," ClearSpan President and CEO Barry Goldsher said. ClearSpan Fabric Structures, www.clearspan.com Designed for customers seeking a power‐ ful high‐performing 13‐liter engine, Mack Trucks announced its newest powertrain offering – the Mack MP8 505C+. Built on the 13‐liter MP8 engine platform, the MP8 505C+ offers 505 hp and 1,860 lb.‐ft. of torque. The MP8 505C+ delivers the maximum amount of torque in all gears to maximize fuel efficiency, as well as the customer's return on investment. The MP8 505C+ is ideal for long‐haul applica‐ tions and those requiring the muscle to easily conquer mountainous terrain. "This engine is all about power and per‐ formance," said Roy Horton, Mack director of product marketing. "The MP8 505C+ is an excellent option for customers seeking a lower‐displacement engine, which saves weight and improves fuel economy, but one that can also readily manage heavy loads across rigorous terrain." The MP8 505 C+ is available in the Mack Pinnacle Axle Forward and Axle Back models. The Pinnacle model is designed for durable over‐the‐road hauling with a Mack Advantage chassis to optimize pay‐ load. It delivers near‐zero emissions through the combination of the MP8 en‐ gine and Mack ClearTech SCR technology. The MP Engine Series also is designed with fewer parts, offering operators an engine that's built to last. Mack Trucks further strengthened its service and support network in Canada with the opening of new facili‐ ties in Saskatchewan and Quebec.
