New for the QA441 is a color‐coded push button control system with sequential start‐up for ease of operation as well as an updated feeder hopper and feeder drive system for increased throughput. To speed‐up screen media changes, the QA441 includes hydraulic screen separa‐ tion, new wrap around walkways, a newly designed access ladder, optimized screen drives and hydraulic raise/lower facility on the main conveyor. The standard radio remote control and upgraded electrical system will also further enhance operator safety and control. Featuring the patented Doublescreen sys‐ tem, this design utilizes two high‐velocity screen boxes that work independently of each other; the primary screen works as a fines extractor, whilst the secondary op‐ erates as a grader. Doublescreen advantages over competing products include greater material control, greater adjustability, increased accuracy and higher screening efficiencies, making this unit ideal for producing massive vol‐ umes of high specification products, with‐ out compromising on productivity, the company said. The QA441 is ideal for large‐scale aggre‐ gates producers but lends itself to many applications including iron ore, topsoil, re‐ cycling, minerals, coal, sand and gravel. Features include: • Patented Doublescreen featuring two independent two deck screens 6 x 1.5m (20 x 5 ft.) equivalent, effectively per‐ forming two processes on one plant. • Large volume hopper complete with remote control hydraulic tipping grid. • Massive stockpiling capability through integrated hydraulic conveyors. • Greater adjustability, increased accu‐ racy and higher screening efficiencies over competing products. • Ease of operation with new color‐ coded control panel with sequential start up. • Ease of maintenance with hydrauli‐ cally folding walkways on three sides. The event attracted more than 300 international dealers and customers from more than 90 coun‐ tries worldwide. During the conference, attendees were introduced to the Terex Finlay business strategy and key focus areas for growth in the next three years. Key to Terex Fin‐ lay growth and expansion plans is an ag‐ gressive new product initiative and development strategy, which will see the business double its current product range in the same time period. At the conference, attendees saw the 693+ inclined screen and the 873 heavy duty screen. The 693+ inclined screen incorporates Spaleck screening technology. This exclu‐ sive screen features a unique flip‐flow top and bottom deck guaranteeing first class screening of materials. The new 873 heavy duty screen has been engineered to work as a primary screen in quarry, demolition, C&D Re‐ cycling, landfill material, topsoil, sand and gravel, coal, slag, ore processing and aggregates. This new model when launched will offer small and medium sized operators an aggressive, flexible and class leading machine with a wide range of available screening media configurations.
