EQUIPMENT TECHNOLOGY + Rail Alignment Tool The RAT‐Series Rail Alignment Tool positions and aligns underground track, while increasing productivity and worker safety. The tool is rated with a push capacity of 5 tons yet weighs only 70 lb. An inte‐ grated ACME extension screw reaches 16 in., allowing longer reach and fast setup, achieving a maximum tool extension of 76 in., with a collapsed length of 46 in. The hydraulic bladder design reservoir al‐ lows for usage in any position, and the cylinder features large bearing surfaces and an internal spring for fast retraction. Featuring a large oil fill, the tool provides a high flow output for each handle stroke. The self‐contained, turnkey tool employs a heavy‐duty Piston and Bearing System to withstand the harshest environments for enhanced protec‐ tion and durability. The "shaft ready" one‐piece assembled units integrate pre‐lubricated SKF Explorer spheri‐ cal roller bearings offering high load‐carrying ca‐ pacity, long life, and high‐quality performance. The bearing units mount and dismount to the shaft quickly from the same side using only a torque wrench reducing axial space requirements. Once the bearing unit is correctly positioned on the shaft, angled set screws are tightened to axially displace the precision‐engineered and matched stepped inner ring and sleeve, compressing the inner sleeve to grip the shaft evenly around the entire shaft cir‐ cumference for a true concentric, tight fit. Up to 1.5 degrees of shaft misalignment can be accommo‐ dated without diminishing seal effectiveness. Shaft diameters range from 3 7 /16 in. to 4 15 /16 in. and the units can accept commercial grade or re‐usable shafting without necessitating specially machined and costly ground or polished shafts. The Drum Top Sump Cleaner fits onto standard 55‐gal. open top drums. The unit is powered by an air venture vacuum generator and comes with a 10‐ft. suction hose. The Reversible Liquid Vacuum operates on shop air and at‐ taches easily to a small bung on a standard drum. The Sump Cleaner is available with single or twin compartments, and ranges in capacity from 65 gal. to 1,000 gal. It removes the coolant, sludge and chips from the sump, filters the sludge and chips from the coolant, and returns the filtered coolant to the sump, or trans‐ ports the coolant to waste treatment or to another Eriez Recy‐ cling System.
