EQUIPMENT TECHNOLOGY Dust Suppression Unit + The DustBoss DB‐100 is engineered specifically to deliver the power to reach the working face of an open cast mine or large quarry. The dust suppressor has a range of more than 100 m, giving it ample reach to cover material stockpiles 200 – 300‐ ft. high. The giant atomized misting unit from Dust Control Technology stands nearly 10‐ft. tall, and can cover a massive area of 280,000 sq. ft. from a single location. The machine's 60‐hp fan is fed by a manifold of 30 brass nozzles that are specifically sized and positioned for the new design. The DB‐ 100 features simple, user‐defined 359 degree oscillation, along with adjustable elevation from ‐7 to 45 degrees. It can also be outfitted with a dosing pump to accurately meter in surfactants or tackifiers to further enhance bind‐ ing of dust particles. A 10 hp (7.5 kW) booster pump elevates water pressure as high as 200 psi for outstanding droplet production. Addi‐ tionally, the DB‐100 can be set up to run potable or non‐potable water. Dust Control Technology, www.dustboss.com Tilt Buckets Dromone tilt buckets can be fitted directly to an excavator or in conjunction with a Quick Coupler. The buckets feature 900‐degree bucket rotation (45‐degree rotation to the left and right), and are ideally suited for a full range of customer applications that include backfilling, ditch cleaning, grading, land clearing and sloping work/shaving. Dromone tilt buck‐ ets feature dual layer bucket skin and a durable structural design for unmatched strength. And with integrated wear‐ resistant side cutters, Dromone buckets outperform others in the industry, notes the manufacturer. Hardened, sealed pins, combined with wear‐resistant insert bushings, ensure optimal performance and low maintenance costs. Protected greasing points, hardened pivot and cylinder pins, an op‐ tional reversible bolt‐on the cutting edge and pro‐ tected, wire‐guarded hoses help ensure long life and durability. Furthermore, the optional variable flow restriction system allows tilt speed adjustment to suit every application.
