(Bridge- stone) announced it is expanding its portfolio of industry-leading tech- nology solutions with PressureStat, a tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) launched for off-the-road (OTR) tires in the construction, quarry, under- ground hard rock and port industries. PressureStat is easy to use and pro- vides instant access to important tire pressure and temperature data, allow- ing customers to accurately manage tire pressure on a real-time basis. "At Bridgestone, we take pride in pro- ducing best-in-class products and delivering solutions-based technology to help our customers lower their total cost of ownership," said Rob Seib- ert, director, marketing, commercial off-the-road tires, Bridgestone Amer- icas Tire Operations. "We recognized an opportunity to expand our TPMS offering beyond giant radial tires to empower our OTR customers across our entire portfolio of products. With the PressureStat system, they not only can improve tire performance, but also increase jobsite safety and reduce unplanned downtime." Seibert told Rock Products that PressureStat is different from the com- pany's TreadStat and B-Tag offerings in that it is tire-pressure specific, and offers Bluetooth-enabled monitoring to provide real-time alerts that prevent issues before they cut into your bottom line. The product is actually designed to integrate with TreadStat, giving you instant access to additional tire and rim condition reports for your entire fleet. Tire pressure is critical in OTR appli- cations to ensure a vehicle's weight is evenly distributed, preventing uneven wear and increasing tire performance. The PressureStat system facilitates tire asset monitoring and optimization with: • Easy-to-install valve stem sensors that save time and money. • Onboard alerts to the driver that make them aware of potential issues before they impact operations. • Bluetooth connectivity that seam- lessly provides real-time pressure updates to mobile devices. • Instant inspection reports for the entire fleet available on desktop or mobile device with Bridgestone TreadStat Tire and Rim Management software. • Streamlined forecasting and analysis when combined with TreadStat soft- ware, allowing users to report on the condition of tires and rims from any device, anywhere in the world. PressureStat is a user-friendly, compet- itively priced tire-pressure monitoring solution backed by Bridgestone, a global leader in off-the-road tire manufactur- ing, service and support. The newest solutions-driven technology for OTR customers is now available for purchase in the U.S. and Canada. Bridgestone Americas, www.bridgestoneamericas.com Superior Builds Longest Road-Portable Telescoping Conveyor Superior Industries Inc. has man- ufactured the first-ever 210-ft. (64 m) road-portable telescoping radial stacking conveyor. The TeleStacker Conveyor, designed and built for a frac sand operation in Texas, is the longest one of its kind ever built. The conveyor has a stockpiling capac- ity of 400,000 U.S. tons (363,000 Mt), 30 percent more than any other telescoping conveyor on the market. According to Superior, the company's solution is less than half the cost of a fixed or stationary tripper conveyor with the same capacity. In addition to high-capacity frac sand applications, operations that may benefit from a longer unit include sites that need to build inventory with large tonnage stockpiles and shipload applications. A 210-ft. (64 m) telescopic conveyor will fill a vessel hold more completely than shorter models. Superior Industries, www.superior-ind.com Bridgestone Launches PressureStat System
