Its powerful 80-GHz frequency focused in a narrow 4-degree beam angle with a measuring range up to 393 ft. and accuracy within 0.2 in. means it excels in tall and narrow vessels. The NCR-80 is offered with a 10-degree swiveling, stainless steel flange for precise targeting; a lightweight plastic antenna with an 8-degree swiveling flange or a mounting strap for adjustable tar- geting; or a 1-1/2-in. NPT mounting option for use in an existing process connection. BinMaster, www.binmaster.com Dan Harrington to Head Cementir Holding's Region North America Aalborg Cement Co. Inc. through its parent company Cemen- tir Holding S.p.A. has acquired controlling shares of Lehigh White Cement Co. and appointed veteran cement executive Daniel Harrington to lead the organization. Trading under the Aalborg White brand, Cementir is the world's largest producer and exporter of white cement and has a long history of doing business in North America as a partner in Lehigh White Cement Co. Under Harrington's direction Cementir's newly formed Region North America will be comprised of the North Ameri- can cement production and distribution operations of Lehigh White Cement and the group's existing U.S. concrete products company, Vianini Pipe Inc., which produces reinforced con- crete pipe and related products. Harrington brings more than 40 years of cement industry management experience to this position. Previously he served as president and CEO of Lehigh Hanson North Amer- ica where he guided the building materials giant through 2015 and as the chairman of the Portland Cement Associa- tion. He is an alumnus of Pennsylvania State University, B.A. in science; Fairleigh Dickinson University, M.B.A. in finance; and Claremont Graduate University where he was awarded a M.A. and Ph.D. in executive management. LafargeHolcim Announces U.S. Leadership Changes LafargeHolcim announced the promotion of two executives, Michael LeMonds and Chad Cornwell, to the U.S. cement and Aggregates Construction Material (ACM) teams. LeMonds and Cornwell will be based in the company's U.S. headquar- ters in Chicago. LeMonds assumes the role of vice president of Land, Envi- ronment and Government Affairs for the United States. He has been with LafargeHolcim for more than 15 years, serving in a variety of leadership positions throughout his tenure, including instituting business development improve- ments across Canada and the United States. LeMonds holds numerous leadership positions in national trade associations including the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association, Portland Cement Association and the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association. Cornwell has been named director of ACM Aggregate and Asphalt Performance, and will oversee the Performance, Geology and Mining teams for U.S. ACM. Cornwell has held a variety of leadership roles within the aggregate industry from project manager to director of operations. He began his career with LafargeHolcim as a performance manager in 2013, and has received numerous awards including the LafargeHolcim US Aggregates "Performance Leadership" in 2016 and "Excellence in Safety Leadership" in 2014. PRODUCT 80-GHz Non-Contact Radar The company will continue to expand its comprehensive portfolio of additives for cement production under the OPTEVA and the TAVERO brand with new products rolling out in the future.
