Terex Articulated Truck Designed to work on jobsites ranging from sand and gravel operations to coal mines and road construction projects, the new Terex TA400 Generation 9 articulated truck is designed to keep productivity levels high, fuel consumption low and cycle times short. Boasting a 444 hp (331 kW) Tier 4 interim compliant Scania DC13 engine, the powerful TA400 has a maximum payload of 41.9 tons (38 t) and a heaped capacity of 30.3 cu. yd. (23.3 cu. m). With a worldclass, emissionscompliant engine offering maxi mum torque of 1,548 ft.lb. (2,100 Nm) at 1,350 rpm, coupled to a fully automatic Allison transmission through a twospeed drop box, the new TA400 provides both exceptional rimpull and highspeed capabilities. The new Generation 9 TA400 is equipped with dual retarder systems, a transmission retarder and exhaust brake, giving operators increased control in loaded, downhill hauls. Engineered with a permanent all wheeldrive (6 x 6) driveline and equalizing rear suspension, the new TA400 also offers exceptional traction capabilities. A fourbar trailing arm suspension system contributes to this new Terex trucks exceptional ride quality, allowing operators to travel faster and more comfortably on difficult terrain. The plant features a 6 x 16ft. (1,829 x 4,877 mm) tripledeck quarryduty inclined screen for high pro duction. The plant also incorporates twin 36in. x 25ft. (914 x 7,620mm) dewatering screws for maximizing screen capacity. An Ibeam main frame with two manual landing jacks and four cribbing legs allow for stable opera tion and easy mobility. Walkways around three sides allow convenient access to the screen. Water manifold and splash style spray bars with individual control valves allow water amounts to be adjusted for vari ous applications. Hardox lined discharge chutes provide long life with minimal maintenance. Rugged Ibeam legs support the screen in the raised operating position for ex cellent stability. Tyler Screens Terex Cedarapids Jaw Crusher The Terex Cedarapids JS4552 Jaw Crusher features durable construction and an aggressive crushing motion for high pro ductivity. Heavyduty, deep rib jaw dies add to the aggressive crushing capability of the jaw. The rugged JS4552 is easy to operate and maintain, and offers new levels of reliability and convenience. The jaw die reten tion system and hydraulic assist shim system allow more up time, increasing productivity. The simple yet rugged hydraulic assist shim system allows jaw setting adjustments to be made fast and easy without the use of tools. Jaw die wedges, which are accessible from the sides of the crusher, are easy to remove and can be changed quickly, reducing maintenance time. The FClass vibrating screen from W.S. Tyler offers a solution for challenging screening applications requiring minimal vi bration transmission during operation. This allows for multi ple machine use within the same building or structure without the same reinforcing measures required to house tra ditional vibrating screens. The FClass is also ideal for screen ing situations that require consistent, load independent performance at constant GForce in all operational modes. Featuring a unique and reliable, proven fourbearing technol ogy, the FClass minimizes structural vibration and delivers a consistent stroke, which twobearing screens cannot provide, and with right media choice virtually eliminates blinding and pegging. With the ability to handle the toughest applications, the FClass is designed and built for scalping and classifying of ores, minerals, stones, sand and gravel. W.S. Tyler, www.wstyler.ca E The crusher features a weight of 104,600 lb.; a feed opening of 45 in. x 52in.; and engine power of 250300 hp.
